Meditation

At Refresh Wellness we believe that meditation should be a part of everyone’s daily life, as essential as healthy eating and exercise.

Meditation has been shown to be effective in reducing cortisol, cholesterol and blood pressure by way of reducing the stress hormones which can cause damage to the heart and arteries.

Meditation does not have to be some Zen experience of total non-thought for 10 years sitting in a Buddhist monastery in Tibet, it can just be sitting at home for 5 minutes each day just as a human being not a human doing.

We can show you methods of meditation for the home or come along to one of our guided meditation evenings on the second Monday of each month at 7pm, it is a great introduction to meditation and deeply relaxing.
